Warren Lynn "Butch" Elrod, JOHNSON CITY

Mr. Warren Lynn “Butch” Elrod, age 68, of Johnson City, passed away Sunday, September 1, 2013, in the Johnson City Medical Center.
Mr. Elrod was a native of Johnson City. He was the son of the late Warren G. Elrod and Carrie E. Peterson Elrod.
In addition to his parents, his wife, Roberta “Darlene” Higgins Elrod, also preceded him in death.
Mr. Elrod was a fence weaver in Bladensburg, Maryland, for Long Fence Company.
Survivors include one daughter, Sherry Souder and her husband, Edgar; two sons, Terry Palmer and his wife, Cathy, and Greg Elrod and his wife, Angie; one brother, Wayne Elrod; one sister, Judy Eades; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service for Mr. Warren Lynn “Butch” Elrod will be conducted at 8 PM Friday, September 6, 2013, in the Morris-Baker North Chapel. David Reece will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Friday prior to the service.
