John "Cale" Golden, KINGSPORT

John Robert “Cale” Golden, 51, Kingsport, went to be with the Lord at 7:45 a.m. on Saturday, August 31, 2013 following a brief illness.
Cale was born in Kingsport and was a graduate of Dobyns-Bennett High School class of 81. He was a certified mechanic from Northeast State. He worked for Grindstaff Motors in Elizabethton for several years and Boats with Gusto in Georgia.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Judy Golden.
Cale is survived by his brother, Kelley Golden, Kingsport; one niece, Sydney Golden; two nephews, Ethan Golden and J.T. Golden; step-siblings, Mike Golden, Beckey Golden, Susan Golden, and Missy Golden.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at Hamlett-Dobson, Kingsport. The service will follow with Pastor J. W. Depew officiating.
