Earl Campbell, LIMESTONE

Earl L. Campbell, 86, Limestone, died at home after gradually declining health on August 22, 2013.
Mr. Campbell served in the US Army Air Corps from 1945-47 during the occupation of Japan. He was a farmer, Supervisor at Ball Metal and Chemical and TN Cellulose Insulation. He was a past member of Limestone Ruritan Club and Limestone Vol. Fire Dept.
Mr. Campbell was a member of the Church of Christ and last attended Limestone United Methodist.
He was a NASCAR and football fan.
Mr. Campbell was preceded in death by his wife: Mildred Claunch Campbell; father, Fred C. Campbell; mother, Thelma Marshall Campbell; sister, Helen Broyles; Nephew, Laird Broyles; Great Aunt, Dorothy J. Marshall; Brother, Robert M. Campbell.
Survivors include, Son: Lynn Campbell, of Limestone; Daughter: Sharon and husband, Gene Payne, of Limestone; Grandchildren: Neil Campbell and wife, Tracy, of Baileyton, Deonne Campbell Duncan and husband, Jeff, of Greeneville; Phillip Campbell, of Chapel Hill, N.C., Hannah Payne, of Limestone; Great grandchildren: Garrett Campbell, Taylor Campbell, Jonathan Mitchum; Step great grandchildren: Austin Moss, Zachary Moss, Matthew Moss, Gage Duncan, McKensie Duncan; Special friend, Sue Hubbard, of Greeneville.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Friday, August 23, 2013, at Jeffers Funeral Service in Afton
The funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. on Friday, August 23, 2013, at Jeffers Funeral Chapel in Afton. Rev. Joe Miller and Rev. Stephen Spell will officiate.
The graveside service will be held Saturday, August 24, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Providence Cemetery.
