Bonnie Ford, JONESBOROUGH

Mrs. Bonnie B. Ellenburg Ford, age 89, Jonesborough, passed away Sunday, August 11, 2013 at the Johnson City Medical Center.
Mrs. Ford was a native of Greene County and daughter of the late Benjamin and Lora Shelton Ellenburg.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Edsel A. Ford in 1990; sisters, Reba Hensley, Beula Cloyd, Mary Sue Ford, infant sister Sabra Ruth Ellenburg; brothers Ralph Ellenburg and Guy Ellenburg; sisters-in-law Lozella Ford, Madeline Ford, and Ruth Cookenour.
Bonnie was raised in the Christian Church Shelton’s Chapel in Greene County. She was a faithful worker in the Methodist Church for 70 years and also attended Oak Hill Baptist Church the last few years.
Survivors include three sons, Jerry Ford and wife Patsy, Don Ford and wife Brenda, Larry Ford and wife Cheryl; two daughters Doris Ford, Carolyn Willis and husband Johnnie; grandsons John Willis, Doug Willis, Wesley Ford, Brad Ayers, Randy Ford, Jeff Ford, David Ford; granddaughters Kelly Fugate and Heather Housewright; great grandchildren Austin Willis, Kendal Willis, Corey Ayers, Lily Ayers, Jacob Ayers, Peyton Ford, Chelsey Ford, Zachary Ford, and Ben Housewright; sister Alice Smith; brother-in-law John D. Ford; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 pm on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Victor Wallace officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm prior to the service.
Interment services will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at SulphurSpringsCemetery.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons.
