Rev. Wiley Dale Helton, 52, Mosheim, Tennessee, died Thursday, August 8, 2013, at his home.
He went to work for Jarden Zinc Products in 1999 as an Information Systems Analyst and was promoted to Senior Systems Analyst.
Rev. Helton was a member of Carpenters Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.
He was ordained as a minister on February 27, 2011.
He was a wonderful, loving husband and father who will be sadly missed.
He was preceded in death by his father: Wiley Gideon Helton; grandparents: Frank and Faye Helton and Rev. Garnie Bell; and one aunt: Ruby “Dale” Fearnow.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years: Barbara Helton; three daughters: Haley, Casey and Deanna Helton; mother: Phyllis Helton Bise Cox and husband, Bud Cox; sister: Pollie Brandon; grandmother: Mae Bell; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 11, 2013, at Carpenter’s Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. Rev. Elmer “Sonny” Beaver and Rev. Jim Trent will officiate.
Interment will be in Carpenter’s Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tommy Blazer, Jerry Deyton, Johnny Carpenter, Lee Lane, Jimmy Hill and Donald Lynn Swatzell. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Carpenter’s Chapel Missionary Baptist Church and his co-workers at Jarden Zinc Products.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
