Julia “Julie” Lucille Cohen, age 73, died at her home in Johnson City August 1, 2013.
Family will receive friends from Sunday, August 4th, from 1-3 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. at Jeffers Funeral Service in Afton.
Funeral services will be held 7 p.m. Sunday at Jeffers Funeral Chapel in Afton.
Family and friends will meet at the Jeffers Funeral Service in Afton Monday at 9 a.m. to go in procession to Cedar Grove Cemetery for a 10 a.m. graveside service.
Rev. Sarah Emrich and Rev. Joe Miller will officiate.
Survivors: Husband: Kenneth R. Cohen; 2 sons: Kevin Cohen, of Hampton, Va., and Keith and Lindy Cohen, of Mosheim; Granddaughter, Katie Cohen, of Hampton, VA; 3 Sisters: Katherine Stewart and Brenda Crum, of Chuckey; 5 Brothers: George and Marie Thompson, Ruble Thompson, Harold and Carolyn Thompson and Bill and Marie Thompson, Donnie and Vivian Thompson; Sisters-in-law, Carol Thompson and Ann Thompson; Brother-in-law, Patrick Gray; Numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.
Preceded in Death: Parents, James and Bertha Thompson; brothers, Jack Thompson, Edward Thompson, Eugene Thompson, Leland Thompson; Sisters, Patricia Gray, Mary E. Wahler.
Active Pallbearers: Billy Ray Crum, Jordan Ball, Chris Ball, John Ball, Brandon Gray and James Thompson.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Greenwood United Methodist Church Building Fund would be greatly appreciated and acknowledged by the family.
