Rose Hagy Street, JOHNSON CITY

Rose Hagy Street, 75, 2312 Eastside Avenue, Johnson City passed away Sunday, July 21, 2013 in the Sycamore Shoals Hospital.
She was a Johnson City native and had lived in Oak Ridge, TN and Baltimore, Maryland before returning to Johnson City in 1963. Mrs. Street was a daughter of the late Cleveland and Maybelle Bailey Hagy.
She had worked many years at ITT North Electric and was a member of the Piney Grove Freewill Baptist Church of Johnson City. Mrs. Street was a 1955 graduate of Oak Ridge High School.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Warren Street in 2010; a brother, Richard Hagy and two sisters, Patricia Jennings and Wanda Hope Williams.
She is survived by a daughter, Nancy Honeycutt and husband, Dallas of Sulphur Springs; two sons, Ronald Street and wife, Jennifer of Gray and Larry Street of Johnson City; three brothers, A.G. Hagy and wife, Crystal of Cummings, GA, C.L. Hagy Jr. of Johnson City and Stephan Hagy of Alabama; a sister, Pricilla White of Fredrick, Maryland; two grandsons, Joshua Honeycutt and Austin Street and his fiancée, Meagan Hawkins; a granddaughter, Ashley Street and fiancé, Shane Turner; a great-granddaughter Keatin Rose Turner; special friends, Anne Mullins and Glen Williams; also several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services for Mrs. Street will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday, July 25, 2013 in the Snyder’s Memorial Gardens in Gray with Rev. Paul Crowe officiating. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Everyone attending this service is asked to meet at the cemetery by 10:50 AM. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, July 24, 2013 from 5:00 until 7:30 PM.
