UNICOI — Jean McInturff, 67, Unicoi, passed away Saturday, July 20, 2013 at the Johnson City Medical Center.
She was the daughter of the late Lester Parlier, Sr. and Dorothy Bowers Parlier.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband: Gene McInturff; sister: Dawn Grindstaff.
Jean is survived by her daughters: Shelia Dulaney and husband Nick, Tammy Appel and husband Andy; grandchildren: Josh and Rachel Dulaney, Sydney and Anderson Appel; sisters: Bobbie Peters and husband Terry, Ann Bradley and husband Jerry, Sharon Storey and husband Bob, Joan Estudillo; brother: Lester Parlier, Jr. and wife Dee; special sister-in-law: Bernice Williams; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service for Jean McInturff will be held at 8:00 PM on Monday in the Sunrise Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Services with Pastor Norman Lovelace officiating. The family will greet friends from 6:00 PM until the service hour at the funeral home.
A Graveside and Committal service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM in Barnett McInturff cemetery, Unicoi. Pallbearers will be Lester Parlier, Jr., Bob Storey, Jerry Bradley, Alan Mango, Terry Peters, and Michael Bradley. Honorary pallbearers will be Nick Dulaney and Andy Appel. Everyone is asked to meet at the funeral home by 10:15 AM on Tuesday to go in procession to the cemetery.
