Hazel Minier, BOSWELL, Ind.

Hazel Marie Minier, 80, of Boswell, IN, died, Thursday, July 11, 2013, in her home after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born May 8, 1933, in Benton County to the late Archie & Maude (Gregory) Estes. She attended Boswell & Locust Grove Elementary Schools & was a 1951 graduate of Freeland Park High School.
She married Edgar Minier, April 19, 1953, at the Fowler Wesleyan Church, Fowler, IN; he survives. She was a member of the Pine Village United Methodist Church, where she also taught Sunday school.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, “touring” with her husband, golfing, bowling, writing poems & working crossword puzzles. She also volunteered in Neonatal Units.
Surviving with her Husband, Edgar, Boswell, IN; is Daughter, Shari Miller (Husband, Tom), Crown Point, IN, three Sons, Dean Minier (Wife, Shelia), Jonesborough, TN, Randy Minier (Companion, Mary Horn), Monticello, IN, Stacey Minier (Wife, Teresa), West Lafayette, IN; six Grandchildren, Deana, Brittany, Spencer & Olivia Minier, Terra & Grant Miller; Brother, Richard Estes, Attica, IN; & a Special Nephew, Michael Hull (Wife, Mary Alice), West Lafayette, IN.
A Sister, Melva Athene Guilei, precedes her in death.
Visitation will be Monday, July 15, 2013, from 3 PM until time of service at 7 PM at the Pine Village United Methodist Church, Pine Village, IN, with Pastor Jeff Allen officiating.
Burial will be at the Boswell Cemetery, Boswell, IN.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Pine Village United Methodist Church or Sulphur Springs United Methodist Church Building Fund.
