George A. Adams, JOHNSON CITY

George A. Adams, 83, passed away the afternoon of Thursday, July 4, 2013, at his residence.
He was born July 31, 1929, in Johnson City, TN to the late Wiley C. Adams and Sally Davis.
George was a native of Johnson City and lived here his entire life. He attended Keystone Presbyterian Church. He was in the military for 30 years and retired from the Johnson City Police Force.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Blanche Adams; 2 daughters, Laura Netherland and Melissa & Roger Honeycutt; and 2 granddaughters, Alex and Savannah Honeycutt.
The family will have a private service at a later date. Chaplain Ed Jefferies will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your favorite charity in George’s name.
