Dr. Oscar Weaver Jr., JOHNSON CITY

Dr. Oscar Montague Weaver, Jr. of Johnson City, Tennessee passed away peacefully at Erwin Health Care Center on June 17, 2013. He was born in Lewistown, Pennsylvania on September 20, 1925 to the late Ann Lepp and Dr. O. M. Weaver. Dr. Weaver attended Carson Long Military Academy, Bucknell University, and Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. He was commissioned as a Captain in the US Medical Corp during the Korean War. Prior to his retirement he served as a Radiologist at Johnson City Medical Center. Dr. Weaver was an avid farmer and airplane enthusiast. He traveled the world and enjoyed music and books. He is preceded in death by his wife, Theresa Frances Zecoski.
A private service is planned in Lewistown, Pennsylvania.
