Robert Nulty, BAKERSVILLE, N.C.

Robert Nulty, age 58, of Bakersville, passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at his home. Born on Jan. 20, 1955, in Tokyo, Japan, he was the son of the late William Frank Nulty and Teruko Wattanabe Nulty. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and a member of the Red Hill United Methodist Church.
Mr. Nulty is survived by his wife of 21 years: Stormy Honeycutt Nulty, Mother: Teruko W. Nulty of Eatontown, NJ, his brothers: James Nulty and wife, Julie of Oceanport, NJ and David Nulty of Long Branch, NJ, his sister: Patricia Nulty of Long Branch, NJ, several nieces and nephews residing in NJ and NC.
A gathering time will be at 3 PM - 4 PM, Thursday, June 27, 2013, at the United Steel Workers Union Hall on Carolina Ave., with a celebration of life to begin at 4 PM. Committal services with Military Honors will be held Monday, July 1, 2013, at the WNC State Veterans Cemetery, 1270 Old US Hwy 70 West, Black Mountain, NC 28711.
