GREENEVILLE — Aubrey D. “Buddy” Brown, 81, of Hardin’s Chapel Community, died Friday, June 14, 2013, at Johnson City Medical Center.
Mr. Brown was a dairy farmer.
He was preceded in death by his first wife: Pauline Seaton Brown; grandson: Steve Hartman; brothers: Grover, Haskell, Allen, Luther, Roy, Edgar; sisters: May, Pauline, Dorothy, Ruby and twin sister, Audrey.
Survivors include his wife: Melba Brown; 3 daughters and 2 sons-in-law: Sharon Hartman, of Hardin’s Chapel community, Rhonda and Don Newland, of Kingsport, Zan and David Weems, of Mt. Zion Community; 1 son and daughter-in-law: Dale and Joy Brown of Hardin’s Chapel community; grandchildren: Wade Hartman and Saundra, Rachel and David Hughes, John Hartman, Mandi and Brian Martin, Andrew Long and fiancé, Ashley Lommel, Amy Newland, Brandon and Tenicia Clark, Trey Clark, Aubrey Weems, Philip Brown, Hannah Brown; great grandchildren: Austin Johnson, Allison Martin, Amelia Martin, Alex Hartman, Oliver Hartman, Dillon Hartman, Kaylee Hartman, Jake Hughes; extended family: Leanne Johnson, Christine Hux; brother: J.T. Frank Brown; brothers and sisters-in-law: Pauline Brown, Reta Lankford, Dale LaFollette, Paul and Helen Seaton, Silas and Minnie Seaton, Guydean and Judy Seaton; many nieces, nephews and cousins; he leaves behind his favorite horse, “Rosie,” and 38 year old mule, “Ruthie,” and dogs, Rusty and Doodle; special cardiologist: Dr. Vipul Brahmbhatt.
The funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at 2 PM at Jeffers Funeral Chapel downtown, with Rev. Darin Harris and Dan Dugger officiating.
Interment will be in Cross Anchor Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 1-3 and 4-8 PM at Jeffers Funeral and Cremation Service downtown or anytime at the home.
