Shelby Lunceford, BUTLER

Shelby Dugger Lunceford, 76, of 108 Whaley Town Road, Fish Springs Community, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, April 3, 2013, from the Johnson City Medical Center Hospital.
She was a native of Carter County and the daughter of the late Earl and Rosie Guy Dugger. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Gene Lunceford, on October 15, 2000; and two sisters, Anna Lee Ward and Barbara Ratcliffe.
Ms. Lunceford was a homemaker and a member of Fish Springs Baptist Church. She loved her family and her church.
Survivors include one daughter, Janice Cable and husband, Charles, Fish Springs; three sons, Dexter Lunceford and wife, Pamela, Elizabethton, Richard Lunceford and wife, Darlene, Elizabethton, and Danny Lunceford and wife, Priscilla, Johnson City; one step daughter, Lavonna Skeans, Elizabethton; grandchildren, Michelle Lovelace, Anthony Skeans, Tessa and Jessica Lunceford, David and Brian Cable, Megan and Ryan Lunceford, Brandon and Travis Lunceford; great grandchildren, Matthew Henegar, Jeffrey Skeans, Sophia, William, Blaine and Eva Cable and Jamine Lunceford; one sister, Margaret Ward; and a special friend, Carl Cable. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
The funeral service for Ms. Lunceford will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 6, 2013, at Fish Springs Baptist Church with Reverend Burl Sluder and Reverend Steve Guinn officiating.
The family will receive friends at Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton, from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM on Friday, April 5, 2013, or at the residence at anytime.
The graveside service will follow on Saturday, April 6, 2013, in the Rittertown Baptist Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will Gary Stout, Toby Rainbolt, Bearl Campbell, Otis Griffey, Tony Griffey and Walley Isham. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Fish Springs Baptist Church.
