Larry "Shorty" Laws, JOHNSON CITY

Larry Ray “Shorty” Laws, age 47, of Johnson City, passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2012, at the Johnson City Medical Center.
He was a son of the late George Ray and Margaret Louise Laws of Johnson City. He attended Stratton Elementary School and Science Hill High School.
Larry is survived by the love of his life, Angie Collins; one daughter, Amber Laws Harris; a step-daughter, Amber Houk; two step-sons, Jeremy Collins and wife, Allison, and Steven Houk and wife, Valorie; and four grandchildren, Hailey Laws, Hunter Houk, Ashlynn Riddle, and unborn baby Collins. Also surviving are his sister, Debbie Honeycutt and her husband, Ron; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Larry will be held at Keystone Freewill Baptist Church on Thursday, November 15, 2012, at 7:00 P.M. with Pastor Terry Jones officiating.
The family will receive friends at the church from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. prior to the service.
The Cremation Society of Northeast Tennessee is serving the family of Mr. Laws.
