Alexander Logue, KINGSPORT

Alex Logue, born September 29, 1989, passed away suddenly at his home in Kingsport on Wednesday, October 10, 2012.
Alex was a 2008 graduate of Sullivan South High School. Alex was an honor student at ETSU planning to graduate in December with a degree in Computer Science and a minor in Philosophy. He was employed at Stellar Studios in Johnson City, where he had worked since his junior year in high school. Alex is a member of Colonial Heights Presbyterian Church.
Alex was preceded in death by his brother, Andrew Jake Logue; his maternal grandfather, Carol Gean Mynatt; his paternal grandparents, Robert Louis and Norma Lea Logue; his uncle, Tim Logue.
Alex is survived by his parents, Shane and Janet Mynatt Logue; his maternal grandmother, Bobbie Mae Mynatt, of Knoxville; aunts and uncles, Robert Louis Logue Jr. and wife, Emmie, of Kingsport, Brenda Mynatt Correa and husband, Chris, and Gary Gean Mynatt and wife, Sandra, of Kailua, HI; along with numerous cousins on both sides of the family.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday October 14, 2012, at Colonial Heights Presbyterian Church with Rev. Tom Phillips officiating. Music will be provided by Rev. Shane Smith. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service.
Burial will follow at East Lawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Marshall Couch, Andrew Flannigan, Wesley Holtzclaw, Dustin Gardner, Kevin Smith, Kyle Youland, Mathew Duval, Michael Dale and Warren De Wit. Honorary pallbearer will be Bill May.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Colonial Heights Presbyterian Church, 213 Colonial Heights Road, Kingsport, TN 37663.
