Kathy Sue Parker, PINEY FLATS

Kathy Sue Parker, 63 of Piney Flats, died Wednesday, August 8, 2012, at her residence.
She was a native of Gallion, Ohio, the only daughter of the late Clarence and Esther Baker Brennamen. Kathy was a longtime member of the Piney Flats United Methodist Church and was in the choir. She was Administrator of Pensions and Health Benefits for the Holston United Methodist Conference.
Survivors include: her son, David E. Parker, of Piney Flats; her granddaughter, Shelby Parker, of Piney Flats; her half sister, Hannah Stevens, of Erwin; three special friends, Peggy Plum, Susan Gosnell and Carol Carter.
A funeral service is scheduled for Friday, August 10, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. in the Piney Flats United Methodist Church under the direction of Rev. Scott Brady.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until time of service at 7:00 p.m.
A committal service will be conducted on Saturday, August 11, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. in the Shell Cemetery, Piney Flats. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the Piney Flats United Methodist Church Piano Fund, 225 Methodist Church Street, Piney Flats, TN 37686.
