Lillian Hodgens, Johnson City

Lillian Robinson Hodgens, 83, Johnson City, died Sunday, August 5, 2012 at the Johnson City Medical Center, following a brief illness.
Mrs. Hodgens was a native of Dacusville, SC, and had been a resident of Johnson City since 1963.
She was a daughter of the late John Miles and Elizabeth Hunt Robinson.
Mrs. Hodgens was a member of Central Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Hodgens, in 1994, six brothers and three sisters.
Mrs. Hodgens is survived by her son, Bobby Hodgens and wife Sheila, Gray; her daughter, Jan Gardner and husband Reginald, Galax, VA; two grandchildren, Carolyn Hash and husband Phillip, Galax, and Charles Gardner, Ft. Worth, TX; one great-grandchild, Christian Hash; several nieces and nephews.
The graveside funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. in Roselawn Memory Gardens with Pastor Monroe Willis officiating. Those planning to attend are to meet at the cemetery.
The family requests that in-lieu-of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38101.
