Robert "Bob" Carty, PINEY FLATS

PINEY FLATS — Robert “Bob” Carty, age 74, of Piney Flats passed away Monday, June 11, 2012 at his residence.
A native of Sullivan County he was a son of Juanita Milhorn Carty and the late Robert Cecil Carty. He was retired from Fleming Foods and LandAir Company and after retirement he was a bus driver.
Survivors include his wife Grace Carty of the home; three sons Richard Carty, Terry Lynn Carty and wife Julie of Bluff City and Bobby Joe Carty of Jonesborough; one daughter Donna Maria Byington of Bluff City; four grandchildren, Wade Aaron Carty, Rex Alan Carty, Allison Byington and Christy Lockner; two brothers Lowell Carty and wife Peggy and Larry Carty and wife Kathy and five great grandchildren, Deshaun and Alyssa Hill, Caylin, Katlin and Preston Shaffer.
Special thanks to granddaughter-in-law, Brooke Carty for all her love and support.
The funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 P.M., Thursday, June 14, 2012 at Tetrick Funeral Home-Bluff City Chapel with Mr. Ron Whitacre, Minister, officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 P. M. prior to the service in the chapel of Tetrick Funeral Home. The graveside and interment will be at 11:00 A.M., Friday at Webb-Lady Cemetery. Everyone will meet at the cemetery at 10:55 A.M. Friday.
