Joseph Rash, BRISTOL

Joseph E. “Joe” Rash, age 83 of Bristol, TN, went to be with the Lord June 1, 2012, at the Bristol Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Rash was born June 6th 1928, in Ashe County, North Carolina. He is the son of the late Ham R. Rash and Margaret Woodards Rash.
Mr. Rash has lived in the Bristol area since 1948 were a worked with the TVA and was a member of the Teamsters Local Union #549; he was a charter member of Valley Pike Presbyterian Church and King Lodge #461 F&AM, Scottish Rite and the Jericho Shrine Temple.
Mr. Rash is also preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Maude Robinson Rash; two sons: Johnny and Jack Rash; Grandson: Brian Ketron; two brothers; and two sisters.
Survivors include daughters: Margaret Wallace and Nancy Ketron; 6 Grandchildren; 13 Great Grandchildren; 2 Great Great Grandchildren; 2 sisters; 3 Special friends: Linda Scardo, Mickey and Donna Smith.
A Masonic service will be conducted for Mr. Rash by King Lodge #461 F&AM Monday, June 4th, 2012, at 8:00 P.M. in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel.
A funeral service will immediately follow the Masonic service with Chris Ketron and Rev. Buddy Chapman officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 7:45 P.M. prior to the services.
A graveside services will be held Tuesday June 5th, 2012, at 11:00 A.M. in the Glenwood Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, 950 West Fair Road, Greenville, South Carolina 29605.
