Jeffrey Morrell, JOHNSON CITY

Jeffrey Douglas Morrell, 57, Johnson City, Tn., passed away May 24, 2012, after a brave fight against cancer. He was surrounded by family and friends.
Jeff lived the majority of his life in Bluff City. He was a man of strong faith and family values. Jeff had many talents and skills. He enjoyed gardening, loved people, and most of all he enjoyed playing his guitar and making people smile. He was loved by all who knew him.
Jeff was the son of the late James and Betty Morrell, of Bluff City.
He is survived by his long time friend and companion, Robin Cox; one son, Douglas James Morrell, of the home; two grandchildren, Katlyn and Payton Morrell; three brothers, Tony Morrell and wife, Dimple, Jerry Morrell and wife, Sherry, and Michael Morrell; several nieces and nephews who loved him dearly; and close to his heart, Revonda Furr, Jake and Jordon Grindstaff.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 3, at 10:00 AM at Blessed Redeemer Baptist Church, Bluff City. Wayne Baird and David Musgrove will be officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Restore Life USA, www.restorelifeusa.org, and Hospice of Elizabethton in his memory.
