Robert Faust, KINGSPORT

Robert “Steve” Faust, age 55 of Kingsport, went to be with his Lord on Friday, May 25, 2012 at the Holston Valley Medical Center.
Mr. Faust was a Kingsport native and the son of Bob and Nell Faust. He was employed by M.H.C. Kenworth of Kingsport. Mr. Faust was a member of Higher Ground Baptist Church. He was an avid Tennessee VOLS fan, car enthusiast and loved spending time with his granddaughter, but will be remembered as a loving husband, father, papaw, son and brother.
Mr. Faust was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Dalt and Mary Faust and his maternal grandparents: Ernest and Mollie Morrison.
Survivors, other than his parents include his wife, Dana Hampton Faust; daughters: Stephanie Faust Collins and husband Josh and Rachel Sarah Faust and fiancé Joe Erwin; step-daughter, Amber Kanipe Glenn and husband Justin; step-son Andrew Kanipe; granddaughter, Reese Ann Collins; and sisters: Sharon Faust Baroody and husband Ted and Robin Faust Harris and husband John along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Higher Ground Baptist Church, Kingsport. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Phil Hoskins and Pastor Chuck Griffin officiating. The committal service will follow in East Lawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be John Carter Harris II, John Carter Harris III, Evan Haun, Josh Collins, Joe Erwin, Trent Carter, Ron Williams and Tim Smith.
