Bill E. Felty, Bristol

Bill E. Felty, 82, of Bristol, Tennessee, died on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at the Hermitage Health Center, Elizabethton, TN. He was a son of the late Walter Felty and Willie Lee Henley Felty. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters and three brothers.
A native of Bristol, TN, he was a veteran having served in the Korean War with the US Marines and a recipient of the Purple Heart. He was a retired stockbroker from PainneWebber- UBS. He was a Kentucky Wildcat fan and avid fisherman. He was a member of Avoca Christian Church.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Myrtle Felty; son, John Felty and wife Martha of Roan Mountain, TN; daughter, Joann McCall and husband Dan of Long Island, NY; three grandchildren, Meagan, Emily and Gabriel Felty; great grandchildren, Holland and Jagger Spannuth; sister, Betty Ross and husband Paul; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at Mountain Home National Cemetery with Pastor Paul Ross officiating. Military rites will be provided by the Bristol VFW Honor Guard Post #6975.
