Jina B Leigh Oxidine Greer, JOHNSON CITY

Jina “B” Leigh Oxidine Greer, Johnson City, entered into rest, Friday, May 18, 2012 at the Johnson City Medical Center, following an extended illness.
She was a native of Tampa, FL and had lived most of her life in Johnson City.
“B” was an LPN and worked in many areas of healthcare during her career.
She and her late husband Todd also operated a gift shop on North Roan Street.
“B” loved her son Justin very much and also had a tremendous bond with her identical twin sister “A”. They lovingly called each other “Li’l Sis”.
She was a member of East Pine Grove Park United Methodist Church.
“B” was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Marie Oxidine and her husband, Bryan Todd Greer.
She leaves one son, Justin Adam Powell, Johnson City; one granddaughter, Taylor Leigh Anne Powell; five sisters, Teresa Lewis and husband Earl, The Woodlands, TX, Karen Ewing and husband, Bill, Mesa, Arizona, Robin Oxidine, Johnson City, Pam Arrowood and husband, Tommy, Shelbyville, Kentucky, twin sister, Jana “A” Buck and husband, Mike, Johnson City, several nieces, nephews, cousins and a very special friend, Karen Taylor and her daughters.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. James Dykes and the Johnson City Internal Medicine Group, Johnson City Medical Center ICU and 5th Floor nursing stall, Pulmonary Associates, Leah Roth LCSW, and Dr. Christopher Downs and Dr. John Deagler.
A committal service will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at Sulphur Springs Cemetery. Reverend Lon Tobin will officiate. Pall bearers will be Earl Lewis, Tom Arrowood, Mike Buck, Matt Rossman, Byron Hall, Keith Umberger and Jackie Buck. Everyone is asked to meet at the funeral home at 12:15 PM.
