Dorothy Davis, BLOUNTVILLE

Dorothy Helen Davis, 85, of Blountville TN, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 17, 2012, at Wellmont Hospice House after a brief illness.
Born on May 7, 1927, in Saltville, VA, she retired from Unisys after 35 years of service to the company. She was of Baptist faith.
She is preceded in death by her Husband, Jack William Davis; Mother, Pearl Hess; and Father, Henry A. Hess.
Dorothy is survived by her Brother, Raymond (June) Hess, of Tomball, TX; Sister, Virginia Whymer, of Stephens City, Va.; several nieces and nephews; and a very special pet named Shai.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Monday, May 21, 2012, at Glenwood Cemetery with Rev. Gene Cornett officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 on Sunday, May 20, 2012, at the Weaver Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wellmont Hospice House, 280 Steeles Road, Bristol, TN 37620. The family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses and Staff at Wellmont Hospice for their loving kindness and service during their time of need.
