George Pridemore Jr., CHUCKEY

George Frank Pridemore Jr., 59, of Chuckey passed away Saturday evening, May 5, 2012 at the Johnson City Medical Center surrounded by his loved ones.
Junior was born December 28, 1952, the son of the late George Frank and Jeanette Pridemore.
His family stated, “He has gone home to be with his Lord.”
Survivors include his loving wife: Connie; two sons: Robbie Pridemore and Galum Pridemore of Afton; one step-son: Alan Jones of Chuckey; step-daughter and her husband: Nikki and Travis Tipton of Chuckey; one granddaughter: Mikaela Pridemore of Afton; four step-grandchildren: Erica Jones, Shayanne Tipton, Kenzi and Kaine Tipton; two sisters and one brother-in-law: Judy and David Morrison and Sandra Belcher; sisters-in-law and their husbands: Donna and Johnny Mauk, Darlene and Rocky Baxley, and Robin Carter; brothers-in-law and their wives: Gary and Pat Randall, Phil and Maxine Randall, and Terry Randall; several nieces and nephews and the mother of his sons: Patsy Miller.
He was preceded in death by a special brother-in-law: Carroll Belcher.
The family will receive friends from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. on Tuesday at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home, Greeneville.
Funeral services will follow visitation at 8 o’clock in the funeral chapel. The Rev. Doyle Pruett, the Rev. Tim Farris, and the Rev. Brad Seaton will officiate. Interment will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at GraceLand Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will close family and friends.
