Pearl "Grannie" Ward, COLUMBUS, Ohio

Pearl M. “Grannie” Ward, age 100, of Columbus Ohio, formerly of Mountain City, TN, passed away on April 24, 2012 in Columbus Ohio.
She was a daughter of the late Walter and Maggie Martin Wallace.
Mrs Ward was a member of the Pine Grove Baptist Church, loved to cook, garden and quilt.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Ward; Son, Harold Ward; Grand-daughter, Pamela Marie Perkins; 3 brothers; and 1 sister.
Survivors are Daughter, Bettie Ward, Columbus, Ohio; Grandchildren, Eddie and Tonya Ward, Columbus, Ohio, Jerry Ward, North Carolina, Jerry Perkins, Mountain City, TN; 5 Great Grand Children; 1 Great-Great Grand daughter; Several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service for Pearl M. “Grannie” Ward will be conducted at 1:00 PM Saturday April 28, 2012, from the Heroes Chapel of the Johnson County Funeral Home with Mr. Richard Foster to officiate. Pallbearers will be selected from friends.
The family will receive friends from 12 to 1 PM Saturday prior to the service.
Graveside service and interment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Park of Mountain City.
