Lucille Waites, Greeneville

Lucille Waites, age 82, of the Horse Creek Community, died early Saturday morning, April 21, 2012 at Laughlin Healthcare Center.
She was a member of Canah Chapel Free Will Baptist Church and attended as long as her health permitted. Her family stated that she was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Survivors include her husband: James Waites of the Horse Creek Community; two daughters: Donna and Mike Coyne of Chuckey and Judy and Rick Tipton of Erwin; four sons: Marty and Misty Hensley of Greeneville, Alfred and Jewel Hensley of Erwin, Larry and Tammy Hensley of Chuckey and David and Mariana Hensley of LA; one special God daughter: Christine Tipton of Chuckey; 13 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and cousins. Special thanks to Hospice nurse P.J. Thornburg and the entire Amedysis Hospice Group.
Preceded in death by her first husband: Johnny Hensley; parents: Robert and Bessie Huskins; son: Charles Hensley; grandson: Alfred Lee Hensley; brothers: Ronald Lee and Howard Huskins; sisters: Madlyn Mycheskiw and Betty Jane Bailey.
Funeral services for Mrs. Waites will be 8:00 PM Tuesday, April 24, 2012 in the chapel of Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home. Rev. Kenneth Bowens and Rev. John Buchanan will be officiating. Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Wenesday, April 25, 2012 at Evergreen Cemetery in Erwin. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.
Pallbearers will include: Justin Tarlton, Johnny Tarlton, Trevor Hensley, Ronnie Hensley, Robbie Casey, Mason Coyne and Cody Tipton.
The Waites family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home.
