Phillip Hart, ELIZABETHTON

Phillip Ray Hart, 68, Elizabethton, passed away Friday, April 20, 2012, in the Appalachian Christian Village.
A native of Warrior, Alabama, he had lived in Elizabethton for over three years. He was a retired College Music Teacher, having taught at the Wharton County Junior College, Wharton, Texas, for thirty three years. Mr. Hart was a member of Munsey Memorial United Methodist Church.
He loved to play golf and enjoyed giving Hart to heart concerts with his wife.
Survivors include his wife of thirty seven years: Lucille Jarvis Hart; Two Brothers & Sisters-In-Law: Larry Joseph and Patricia Hart, Rainbow City, Alabama, and James Curtis & Joy Hart, Trafford, Alabama.
The family is planning a memorial service at a later date in Alabama.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in memory of Mr. Hart to the Munsey Memorial United Methodist Church Music Ministry, 201 E. Market Street, Johnson City, Tenn. 37601.
