Jamie Fields, St. Louis

ST. LOUIS — Ms. Jamie Lynn Fields was born February 1, 1979, in Johnson City, TN, to Debra E. Fields and Fredrick Fields.
Jamie’s most enjoyable time was spent with Austin (her son), along with her longtime love for dancing and cheerleading that she started at an early age. Jamie knew and had a deep love for the Lord and while living in Johnson City she attended Grace Temple Eternal Life Center.
Jamie attended Ritenour Elementary, Middle and High School in St. Louis, MO, and graduated from Science Hill High School, Johnson City, TN, in 1997. December 2007, Jamie obtained her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology from UMSL. While obtaining her bachelor’s degree Jamie worked in the Ritenour School District as a long term substitute teacher and she was a Correction Officer at the Department of Justice. After her graduation, she began working with the State of Missouri as a Probation/Parole Officer.
She transitioned from her earthly life to her heavenly home on Saturday, March 31, 2012.
She was preceded in death by: her brother, Jason M. Fields; maternal grandmother, Ella E. Shade; paternal grandmother, Thelma Fields; and chosen brother, JeMichael Davis.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her loving son and her heart, Austin Jason Fields; her mother who she loved dearly, Debra E. Fields-Williams; father, Fredrick Fields, of Murfreesboro, TN; step-mother, Jackie Fields, of Murfreesboro, TN; grandmother, Bettye J. Jackson, of Columbia, MO; grandparents, Willie and Thelma Norris, of Johnson City, TN; special aunt and uncle, Tena and Mike Johnson, of St. Louis MO; special nieces, Chelsea and Brittany Johnson, of St. Louis MO; god-mother, Angela Sanders, of Johnson City, TN; step-sister, Karin Petway, of Murfreesboro, TN; chosen sisters, Devan E. Shade, of Nashville, TN, and Rhonda Simms, of Chicago, IL; aunt and uncle, Betty and Randy Galloway, of St. Louis, MO; chosen brothers, Aveion Cason, Shawn Johnson, Cleophus Poole, Michael Jackson, Kenneth Williams, Anthony Williams and Jason Harris, all of St. Louis MO; and host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and family.
Homegoing services for Jamie Lynn Fields will be at 1 PM Saturday, April 7, 2012, at Grace Temple Church, Eternal Life Center, 208 Garden Drive, with District Elder Mark A. Redd officiating.
Burial to follow at Washington County Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 12 noon until 1 PM prior to the service at the church.
