Mabel Colvin, Johnson City

Mabel Elizabeth Colvin, age 90, of Johnson City, passed away Monday, April 2, 2012, at the Four Oaks Healthcare in Jonesborough following a lengthy illness.
A native of Damascus, VA, she was a daughter of the late Tom and Elzina Worley. Mrs. Colvin was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William M. Colvin, in 1981; Son, David Colvin; Sister, Billie Jean Mandy Greene.
Survivors include three sons, Joe Colvin, Elizabethton, William “Boady” Colvin, Johnson City, Michael Colvin, Knoxville, TN; four daughters, Betty Smith, Rose Ann Woods, Barbara Williams and Susan Whaley, all of Johnson City.
It was the wishes of Mrs. Colvin to have no formal services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
