Justin ‘Jug’ Garland, Bakersville, N.C.

BAKERSVILLE, N.C. — Justin “Jug” Garland, age 27, of Bakersville, NC, passed away April 1, 2012.
He was born in Mitchell County, N.C., and had worked as a Technician for Power Equipment Maintenance. He was a member at Beans Creek Church of Jesus Christ.
Survivors include his parents, Larry and Loretta Greene Garland, of Bakersville, NC; sister, Ginger Garland Franklin and husband, Daniel of Unicoi, TN; brother, Dakota Garland, of Bakersville, NC; great grandmother, Bertha Garland, of Bakersville, NC; grandfather, Clyde Garland, of Bakersville, NC; nephew, Seth Franklin; niece, Rylee Franklin; special friend, Halley Burleson.
He was preceded in death by: grandparents, Liney and Linda Faye Greene; and grandmother, Shirley Garland.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 5, 2012, at 8:00 PM in the Beans Creek Church of Jesus Christ. Visitation will be held three hours prior to the service. G.B. Garland, Stokes Cook, Dakota Garland and David Byrd will be officiating the service.
Interment will be Friday, April 6, 2012, at 11:00 AM in the Whitson-Garland Cemetery.
Henline-Hughes Funeral Home is assisting the Garland family.
