Carrie Street Carver, Elizabethton

Ms. Carrie Street Carver, age 86, of Elizabethton passed away Saturday, March 31, 2012 at the residence of her daughter.
A native of Roan Mountain, she was the daughter of the late Harrison and Etta Ingram Street. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas Carver (2003); a granddaughter, Tammy Melissa Carver (1989); four sisters, Florence Julian; Marie Street; Shirley Street and Rosie Lacey; seven brothers, JW Street, Clay Street, Bert Street, Buster Street, Verl Street, Elige Street and Billy Street; and a special nephew, Jimmy L. Street.
Ms. Carver retired from Beaunit Fibers and was a member of Valley Forge Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Eddie Carver and his wife, Janice, Elizabethton; one daughter, Carol Boone, Hampton; four grandchildren, Nikki Jones and her husband, Brett, Hampton; Daniel Boone, Bluff City; Danielle Boone, Hampton; David Bunton and his wife, Sarah, Nashville; three great-grandchildren, Kelsey Jones and Kendra Jones, both of Hampton; Nevaeh Bunton, Nashville; and one sister, Willie Holtsclaw and her husband, Wayne, Roan Mountain. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

The Graveside Service and Interment for Ms. Carrie Street Carver will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at Mountain Home National Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Stout officiating. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Everyone will meet at Hathaway Percy Funeral and Cremation Services at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday to go in procession to the cemetery. Friends may call at Hathaway Percy Funeral and Cremation Services anytime on Monday until 5:00 P.M. and at the residence of the daughter, Carol Boone, 2733 Gap Creek Road, Hampton or the residence of the son, Eddie Carver, 509 West D Street, Elizabethton at any time.

Those who prefer memorials in lieu of flowers may make donations to Valley Forge Free Will Baptist Church Building Fund, 1503 Riverview Drive, Elizabethton, TN 37643.
