ESSEX, Md. — Patricia Gail (Pat) Laws Southworth, Essex Maryland, died unexpectedly Thursday, March 8, 2012, at her home.
Pat was a native of Johnson City, TN. She was the daughter of the late John R. and Lucy Webb Laws.
In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Donald W. Southworth; and a brother, Larry D. Laws.
Mrs. Southworth is survived by a daughter, Dawn Frye, Maryland; two sons, Darrel Hagan, Florida, Kevin Coonts, Maryland; four sisters, Joyce Harmon, Orlando, FL; Jane Laws and Linda Ward, Johnson City, and Patricia (Leonard) Isaac, Michigan; five brothers, Bobby Laws, Wayne (Louise) Laws, Rickey Laws, Billy (Peggy) Laws and Michael Laws, Johnson City; two step daughters, Patricia Kluttz and Diane Bernstein; and two stepsons, Wesley and Alan Southworth, Maryland. She is also survived by four grandchildren, three great grandchildren, several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
A visitation was held for Patricia Gail Laws Southworth at Bruzdzinski Funeral Home in Essex, Maryland on March 10, 2012, followed by a private cremation. Pursuant to her wishes, her ashes will be brought “home” to Johnson City, TN, where a memorial service will be held at a later date.
