Karl Justice Jr., Erwin

ERWIN — Karl Lee Justice Jr., commonly known as “Karl,” “Carlucci” or “Lucci,” born on August 12th, 1942, and quietly passed away Saturday morning, March 24th, 2012. He was 69 years old. He left this world surrounded by loved ones and the best friends a man could ever have.
A native of Erwin, TN, he was a graduate of Milligan College and took graduate courses at East Tennessee State University. He is best remembered for working in the Tennessee Department of Human Services throughout Northeast Tennessee, where he helped many others and tried to make the world a better place for all to live in and was well known to friends and family as an avid motorcycle and golf enthusiast. Active memberships were in the Elks and Moose Lodges.
He was blessed to have friends as active in his life as family members and was never short of being loved or cared for by anyone.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Karl Lee Justice, AKA “Lee,” of Erwin, TN, and Magdalene Broyles Justice, of Erwin, TN; and also by his sister, Love Justice Hardin, AKA “Susie,” of Brooksville, FL; and by 2 uncles, Keith Broyles, of Nashville, TN, and Bill Lucas, of Titusville, FL.
Survivors include two sons, Karl Lee Justice III, AKA “Trey,” of Johnson City, TN, Kristopher Lynn Justice, AKA “Kris,” of Senoia, GA; one daughter-in-law, Jana Egas Justice, of Senoia, GA; one grandson, Kristopher Landon Justice, AKA “Landon,” of Senoia, GA; and one granddaughter, Addison Love Justice, AKA “Addi,” of Senoia, GA; his sister, Elaine Justice Smith, AKA “Trick,” of Crystal River, FL; his aunt, Love Broyles Lucas, of Titusville, FL. He is also survived by four nieces, Angela Irby, AKA “Angie,” of Lynchburg, VA, Michelle Vlahos, AKA “Shelley,” of Lynchburg, VA, Love Zajac, AKA “Muffy,” of Brooksville, FL, and Nicole Smith, AKA “Nicki,” of Brooklyn, NY. Being a native to this area, he is also preceded and survived by many other relatives and cherished friends.
There will be no formal visitation or funeral service.
