Ralph Jason Andes, 95, died Monday, March 5, 2012 at the Hermitage Health Center, Elizabethton.
Born in Washington County, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Jason Bradshaw and Rosalie Story Andes. He was the original owner of Andes Transmission Service. He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Willie Patrick Andes, a sister, Sylvia Andes Cole, a brother, Carl “Spud” Andes and an infant grandson, Terry Frazier.
Survivors are Lois & Jack Sweitzer, Granite Falls, NC, Marie & Robert Frazier, Elizabethton, Sue & Carroll Ellis, Johnson City, Ralph & Lois Andes, Granite Falls, NC., D.J. & Carol Andes, Moneta, Virginia, Darrell, Kenneth & Larry Andes of Elizabethton, A sister: Goldie Greene, Johnson City 20 Grandchildren, 28 Great Grandchildren, 5 Great Great Grandchildren. Several Nieces & Nephews.
Graveside Service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 7, 2012 in the Highland Cemetery with the Rev. Dennis Wilson officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that you donate to a charity of your choice.
His family would like to express gratitude to the staff of Hermitage Health Center for the excellent care that they provided over the past five years.
Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 10:40 a.m. Wednesday to go to the cemetery.
