Donald Adams, Piney Flats

PINEY FLATS — Donald “Don” J. Adams, 69, Piney Flats, passed away on Thursday, March 1, 2012, at Franklin Woods Community Hospital.
A native of Midwest, WY, he was the son of the late Vaughn and Opal Motes Adams. Don was retired flight engineer for the United States Air Force. He served his country during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the V.F.W. of Washington, DC, and was an avid fisherman and handyman.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Carl Adams; and two sisters, Barbara Gracia and Maxine Weimer.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 49 years, Adrienne M. Abruzetti Adams; two sons, Michael T. Adams and wife, Melissa, IN, and Mark D. Adams and wife, April, TX; five grandchildren; two brothers, Dick Adams, WY, and Gerald Adams, UT; and three sisters, Carol Ward, Sandra Eastman, both of CO, and Elizabeth Butler, WY. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
The family would like to say, “Thank-you” to the doctors, nurses, and staff, especially Martha, at Franklin Woods Community Hospital ICU for the fantastic care and support given to Don and his family during their time of need.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
