Linda Gardner, Unicoi

UNICOI — Linda Kay Bryant Gardner, age 66, 137 Springbrook Road, Unicoi, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, February 25, 2012, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Mrs. Gardner was a native of Unicoi County and a daughter of the late Floyd and Louise Ford Bryant.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 49 years, Homer Gardner; two sons: Randy Gardner and Mark Gardner, all of Unicoi; three granddaughters: Katie Gardner, Ali Gardner, and Chelsey Gardner, all of Erwin; two brothers: her twin, Roger Bryant, Essex, Maryland, and Larry Bryant, Stanleyville, North Carolina; one sister, Ann Ferris and husband, Ken, Winston-Salem, North Carolina; several nieces and nephews also survive.
A graveside service for Mrs. Gardner will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 27, 2012, in Roselawn Memory Gardens. Reverend Bobby Campbell will officiate. Active pallbearers will be Chris Gardner, Shane Gardner, Bart Gardner, Spud Sears, Keith Booth and Justin Booth. Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Gardner, Randy Gardner, Larry Bryant, Jerry Perkins, Roger Gardner and Wade Gardner.
Those attending the graveside service are asked to meet at Roselawn Memory Gardens not later than 10:45 a.m. Monday.
