Jeffrey Stecker, Lookout Mountain, Ga.

LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Ga. — Jeffrey Mark Stecker of Lookout Mountain, Georgia, died at home on Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012.
He was born in Illinois on August 20, 1954, and lived in Johnson City, Tennessee, until he started college. Jeff graduated from UT-Chattanooga with a bachelor’s degree in music and a master’s degree in computer science. He worked at TVA for 25 years and retired as Senior Systems Analyst Designer.
Survivors include his parents, Glen and Norma Stecker, of Johnson City; one brother, Timothy Stecker and wife, Christine, of Elon, NC; one sister, Dr. Pamela Stecker, of Pendleton, SC; two nephews, Lt. TJ Stecker and wife, Rachel, of Hawaii, Will Stecker and wife, Bailey, of Burlington, NC; one uncle, Werner Heidtke and wife, Ruth, of Harvard, IL; cousins and many friends; and one very special friend, Wendee Baker, of Lookout Mountain.

A Memorial service will be held Sat., Feb. 25, at 3:00 p.m. at Living Word Lutheran Church, 5210 North Roan Street, Gray, TN, with Pastor Thomas Kock and Vicar Jonathan Kehl officiating. Music will be provided by Mrs. Beth Kock.
