Carl Robinson, Jonesborough

Carl Joseph Robinson, 53, Bowmantown Community, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2012, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
A native of Woodriver, Ill., he was the son of Patricia Sherwin Robinson, Summerfield, FL, and the late Carl Kenneth Robinson.
Carl was a United States Marine Corps Veteran. He was a member of the Carter County Amateur Radio Association, Johnson City Amateur Radio Association, Skywarn and Aries. He enjoyed Ham Radio, ATV riding and Camping.
Carl was a caring, passionate man who had a zeal for life. Someone else was always more important than him.
In addition to his mother, he leaves behind his wife, Mary Smith Robinson; two sons, Joseph Robinson and Ryan Smith, all of Bowmantown Community; and one sister, Janet Oakley, Trinity, NC. Several special friends also survive.
A Celebration of Life service for Carl Joseph Robinson will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 25, 2012, at Crossroads Christian Church, 1300 Suncrest Drive, Gray, TN, with Revered Clinton Andrews and Larry Albrecht officiating.
