CARYVILLE — Juanita Lowe, age 74 of Caryville, TN, passed away on the morning of February 9th, 2012, after suffering from a month-long illness.
She was born December 18th, 1937, in Jackson, TN. She attended Westover High School near Jackson, TN, and married Robert Lowe in 1954. She lived in Etowah and Fountain City, TN, before moving to Caryville, TN. She was married to Robert Lowe in the residence of Henry R. “Fuzz” Asbury and Sister-In-Law, Louise Asbury, in Caryville, TN.
She was a Homemaker who provided for her children and doted on her grandchildren. She attended Caryville United Methodist Church for many years, where she worked with Summer Bible School. She was a member of the Caryville Community Homemaker’s Club. Shopping with Sister-In-Laws, Louise and Yvonne, was always an adventure.
Taking long drives with her children to visit grandparents, uncles, aunts and cousins in West Tennessee was a yearly ritual and she was an avid fan when it came to watching her children playing sports or Lady Vols Basketball. She enjoyed baking cookies and cupcakes, watching movies and playing games with her grandchildren and loved long conversations on the telephone with her brother, Wayne, and sister, Yvonne.
Most of all, she enjoyed meeting new people and sharing conversation with them. She was a joy to the world that will be sorely missed.
She was preceded in death by Husband, Robert B. Lowe; her Father, Cokie Jefferson Haley; her Mother, Flora Ima Haley; and Brother, Robert Lee Haley.
