Keith Ray, Flag Pond

FLAG POND — Keith Ray, age 38, 110 Oscar Road, Flag Pond, passed away Tuesday morning, February 7, 2012, in Florence, South Carolina, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was a lifelong resident of Unicoi County. Keith attended Sweetwater Church of God.
He is survived by two sons: Coby Low Ray, of the home, and Brandon Lee Randolph, Erwin; parents, Brown and Virginia Cutshall Ray, Flag Pond; sister, Selena Hoyle and husband, Jimmy, Flag Pond; maternal grandmother, Bea Cutshall, Marshall, North Carolina; nephew, Jaxson Hoyle, Flag Pond; niece, Brianna Hoyle, Elizabethton; Several aunts, uncles and cousins, including a special cousin, Daniel Ray, Erwin.
Funeral service for Keith Ray will be held at 7:00 P.M. Friday, February 10, 2012, in the Robert Ledford Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Craig Shelton and Reverend Darren Shelton will officiate. Special music will be provided by Jane Pate and Nancy Allen, Sweetwater Church of God Youth Group, and Jimmy Dean and the Kathy Hensley family. Pianist will be Myra Harris.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home and other times at the residence, 110 Oscar Road, Flag Pond.
Committal service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, February 11, 2012, in the Cutshall Family Cemetery. Ministers, pallbearers, family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery by 12:45 P. M. Saturday. Active pallbearers will be Ben Brackins, Jamey Shelton, Dwayne Pate, Steven Honeycutt, Randy Tipton, Roy Williams, and Paul Pate. Honorary pallbearers will be Stuart Sparks, Jimmy Hoyle, Daniel Ray, J.P. Metcalf and Buddy Paul Shelton.
