Edna Pierce, North Augusta, S.C.

NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. — Memorial Services for Mrs. Edna Forrester Pierce, 81, of Gregory Lake Road, North Augusta, SC, who entered into rest January 18, 2012, will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 3 o’clock from the Grace United Methodist Church. Rev. James D. Dennis Jr. and Rev. Ryan Spurrier officiating.
Mrs. Pierce was a native of Johnson City, Tennessee, having made North Augusta her home for the past 47 years. She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church. Mrs. Pierce had worked in FBI Communications under the J. Edgar Hoover administration and had retired from the Clearwater Finishing Plant and MAU.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Minnie Roorda Forrester; and a sister, Ida Lynelle Forrester.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Charles A. Pierce; two daughters and their husbands, Kathy and Kurt Bradley, North Augusta, and Karen and Sonny Martin, Augusta; four grandchildren, Kyle (Melissa) Bradley, Nick (Kristin) Bradley, Chase (Jeannette) Martin and Jenna (Bernard) Scherer; two great-grandchildren, Jackson Bradley and Bennett Bradley; a brother and his wife, Keith and Shelby Forrester, Johnson City, TN; two sisters, Melba Easley, Milford, KS, and Claudia Humphreys, Pigeon Forge, TN; a niece, Rhonda Forrester, Johnson City, TN; her dog, Maggie.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Friday evening from 6 until 8.
