Robert ‘Bobby’ Belt, Greeneville

GREENEVILLE — Robert G. “Bobby” “Bob” Belt, 63, of the 107 Cutoff in Greeneville, died Tuesday, January 17, 2012, at Laughlin Memorial Hospital.
He was retired and was an avid camper.
He was a loving husband, and uncle and will be sadly missed.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years: Joyce Belt; special nieces and nephews: Michelle Belt, Sandi Travis, Leslie Belt, Becky Johnson, Starr Rhodes, Cathy Cutshaw, Brittany Fillers, Ralph Jones, Roy Darnell, Tony Darnell, and his special nephew and “camping buddy,” David Weems; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Mildred Jones, Freddie and CarmaLee Darnell, Bobby and Lois Weems, Billy and Frances Darnell, Eddie and Trisha Darnell; several special great nieces and great nephews; and numerous cousins.
He was the son of the late Elbert “Doc” and Lillie Casey Belt and was preceded in death by a brother, Elbert Belt Jr.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home in Greeneville.
The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Dolphus Cutshaw officiating.
Interment will follow in Piney Grove Cemetery. His pallbearers will be David Weems, Jim Murray, Ralph Jones, Roy Darnell, Tony Darnell, Michael Burrell, Harold Ricker and Bobby Weems. Allen Treadway and Tim Wilhoit will serve as honorary pallbearers.
