William "Billy" Elrod, JOHNSON CITY

William “Billy” Elrod, 63, Johnson City, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 8, 2012.
A life long resident of Washington County, he was the son of the late Harry Paul Elrod Sr. and Anna Jean Hicks Hamm.
Billy was a member at Praise Chapel Church in Jonesborough, and currently attended Calvary Church in Johnson City. He worked as a Master Plumber with the Steamfitters and Pipefitters before he became too ill to work.
He is survived by his many special family members who deeply miss Billy’s humor and compassion for life. A private family service was held on Tuesday, January 10, 2012.
The family would like to express a special thank you to the nurses and staff on 2800 at Johnson City Medical Center for the care and support given to Billy and the family during their time of need.
Cremation Society of Northeast Tennessee,, is serving the Elrod family.
