Sammy Carver, JOHNSON CITY

Mr. Sammy Ervin Carver, 70, died Thursday, January 12, 2012, at Johnson City Medical Center.
A native of Washington County, he was the son of the late Charlie Ervin and Mary Ingram Carver. Sammy was a truck driver for Ballenger for 26 years.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by an infant brother, William Carver.
He is survived by his son, Mark Carver and wife, Deanna; three grandchildren; sister, Alice Marie Dalton and husband, Phillip; brother, Robert E. “Buck” Carver and wife, Volena; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 11:30-1:00 p.m. at Morris-Baker Funeral Home, South Chapel.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday at 1:00 p.m. at Morris-Baker Funeral Home, South Chapel, with Rev. Pete Booher officiating.
Graveside services are private to the family. Pallbearers: Mark Carver, Chris Carver, Phillip M. Dalton Jr., Kenneth Ingram, Canaan Ingram, Scott Ingram.
