Frances Henderson, Elizabethton

ELIZABETHTON — Frances Collett Henderson, 83, passed away on January 2, 2012, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital.
She was born in Rockwood, TN, and spent her later years in Carter County.
She was the daughter of the late William R. and Mary Warner Collett. She was also preceded in death by four brothers: Frank, Ruben, Millard (Red) and Harriman (Cork) Collett.
Ms. Frances is survived by her daughter, Sheila and husband, Joe Hughes; four grandchildren, David Hughes, Joey and wife, Donna Hughes, Angie and husband, Mitchell Cornett, Marti and husband, Joel Oliver; five great grandchildren, Haley Hughes, Mitch and Zeke Cornett, J.J. Oliver and Ashley and husband, Scotty Montgomery; four great great grandchildren, Carter Cornett, Gracie, Luke and Sophie Montgomery; A sister, Elsie Ladd, Rockwood, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
The family expresses many thanks to the employees of Ivy Hall Nursing Home and Sycamore Shoals ICU unit for the wonderful care and friendship they gave to Ms. Frances.
A family memorial service will be held at a later date in Rockwood. She was of the Baptist faith.
Family and friends may visit at the home of Sheila and Joe Hughes, Central Community, Johnson City, TN.
