Published December 31st, 2011 10:51 pm

Willie (Nanny Bill) Stonecipher Davison, 92, Johnson City went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, December 25, 2011 at the residence of a granddaughter.
She was a native of Knoxville but had lived in Johnson City most of her life.
Mrs. Davison was a daughter of the late Albert and Elizabeth Hodges Stonecipher. She was a homemaker who lovingly cared for her children and grandchildren. With little formal schooling she was self-educated and delighted in teaching them, as well as the neighborhood kids, new things. She always took time to make learning fun. Many will recall how “Nanny taught me this.” Since she lived through the depression, she learned how to recycle useful things and all of the kids would say, “Take it to Nanny, she will fix it.”
People enjoyed being around her because of her fun-loving ways. Her youthful outlook and appearance amazed everyone, even in her nineties. Laughter and family kept her young and happy. Mrs. Davison’s hobbies included sewing and reading and she was an avid reader and subscriber of the Johnson City Press for many years.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Davison, in 1986; two brothers, Joe and Albert Stonecipher Jr.; three sisters, Bea Mullins, Annie Pruitt and Clara Deloach.
Mrs. Davison was the last surviving sibling of her family. Survivors include a son, Eddie Langford and his wife, Sharon, Jonesborough; three daughters, Pat Taylor and husband, Jerry, Helen Harris and husband, Arthur, all of Johnson City and Beth Busler and husband, Bobby, of New Braunfels, Texas; grandchildren include Lori Case and husband, Darrell, Lisa Taylor Wilson, Kristi Busler Bonsole and husband, Richard, Rob Busler and wife, Rachel, Denice Dubin and husband, Dave, Don and Rob Saenz and Pat Saenz and wife, Amy; great-grandchildren, Brittni and Miranda Case, Justin and Jessica Dubin, Logan, Landon and Luke Bonsole, Brody Busler and Chris Washington; also several nieces and nephews.
The Celebration of Life service for Mrs. Davison will be conducted at 7:00 PM Thursday, January 5, 2012 in the Woodall-Anderson and Dugger Funeral Home with the Rev. Dan Case officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 5:00 PM until the service time.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, January 6, 2012 in the Washington County Memory Gardens Mausoleum Chapel.
