Clarence Cole, Jonesborough

Mr. Clarence M. Cole, age 75, Jonesborough, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2011, at the Indian Path Medical Center.
Mr. Cole was born in Johnson City, TN, and son of the late Melvin & Jeanette Long Cole. In addition to his parents, Mr. Cole was also preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Jean Cole; two brothers, Kenny Cole and Tommy Cole; and one step-son, Jeff Brumit.
He was a member of Liberty Fellowship Church.
Mr. Cole retired after 20 years of service from Henard Metal as a Metal Fabricator.
He enjoyed fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Harrison Cole, Jonesborough; two daughters, Kathy Hicks, Bristol, VA, and Vickie Scriven (Mike), Anchorage, Alaska; step-daughter, Debbie Brumit, Gray; son, Bill Cole (Sherry), Limestone; step-sons, Mike Brumit, Jonesborough, and Gary Brumit (Debbie), Chuckey; brothers, Larry Cole, Leroy Cole, Harry Cole, Ernest Cole, David Cole, Fred Cole and Roger Cole; sisters, Shirley Hazelwood, Evelyn Merriman and Christine Graybeal; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 16, 2011, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Foster officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday prior to the service.
Interment services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 17, 2011, at Roselawn Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be family & friends.
