Louis E. White, Jonesborough

Louis E. White, age 70, Rockwood Drive, Jonesborough, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, December 11, 2011 at the Johnson City Medical Center.
He was the husband of Jean White and father of two sons, Eddie and Michael White; three grandchildren, Hunter and Makayla White and Heather Allen; two great grandchildren, Brooklyn Guinn and Aden Allen; one sister, Carolyn Sparks and one brother, Dennis Counts.
Mr. White retired from Coca Cola after 29 years of service as a service technician.
He attended First Baptist Church in Jonesborough.
A funeral service for Mr. White will be conducted at 8:00 PM Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at Tetrick Funeral and Cremation Services. Reverend Joel Cook and Reverend Ron Goss will officiate.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at Washington County Memory Gardens. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the funeral home at 12:30 PM and travel in procession to the cemetery. Active pallbearers will be David Keys, Phil Allen, Hunter White, David Rowland, Jim Ramsey and two selected church members. Honorary pallbearers will be Frank Ivy, Brown Barnett, Dennis Counts and Darrell Pierce.
The family expresses thanks to the Johnson City Medical Center and a special thanks to his home health nurse, Lorie Hibbs, who was like a granddaughter to the family.
